Trench Covers and Grates - Light Duty

Trench Covers and Grates in the following series are STANDARD in Iron - furnished in Aluminum when specified. Only the TCLB or TGLB series is also furnished in Bronze, restrictions and availability apply, contact manufacturer.

TCLB and TGLB series are designed for safe pedestrian traffic with 3/8" slot opening in grating.

TCAB and TGAB series are designed for light automotive traffic and provide for safe pedestrian traffic with the 3/8" slot openings for the TGAB grating.

On all series, Covers and Grates are bolted to their Frames for installation in concrete to insure a proper fit after the concrete is placed. The Sheet Metal Form Pan is an optional feature to save the high cost of wood forming in the field. When the Form Pan is specified, it is welded to the Trench Frame. Standard depths for Form Pans are 2" less than the Trench widths (C-2").

Custom depth and sloping bottom and outlet designs are also available upon specification. Ell, Tee, Cross and Miter joints are prefabricated. For Form Pan options and more detailed installation information, refer to the Trench Drain Layouts and Installation Suggestions pages.
